Gregory Vargas continues to expand his legacy in Venezuelan basketball and this Monday he added another historic night to his resume, in what was the victory of Gladiadores de Anzoátegui 82-76 over Héroes de Falcón.

“El Súper Ratón”, captain of La Armadura, got seven assists and reached 3,057, to place himself as the third highest assist maker in the history of professional basketball in Venezuela.

Series in check

The victory of Gladiadores at the Fanelón Díaz gymnasium in Punto Fijo left the series in check. The Anzoategui team is up 3-0 and could define the tie this Tuesday when they meet again in the same venue.

José Materán was one of the most outstanding players, as he finished with 19 points, three rebounds and two assists. He also made five three-pointers in seven attempts.
