Cannes – The US director of the hit film “Barbie”, Greta Gerwig, will be president of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival next year. She is only the second American to take on the role, following actress Olivia de Havilland in the 1960s, the festival announced on Thursday morning. The 40-year-old broke several records with “Barbie” this year.
