LONDON – Guitarist Mark Sheehan of Irish rock band The Script has died aged 46 following a short illness. Sheehan founded the group (“Hall of Fame”, “Breakeven”) with frontman Danny O’Donoghue and drummer Glen Power in 2001. The musician died in hospital, the band announced on Twitter on Friday. Together with the family, she asked all fans to “maintain their privacy at this tragic time”.
