Jeddah: Gulf Media is organizing a sevens football tournament in Jeddah under the name ‘Soccer Carnival 2022’. The matches will be held on September 15 and 16 at Hilal Sham Stadium, Khalid Bin Waleed from 7.30 pm onwards. 16 teams in the senior division and four teams in the junior division will compete in the sevens format and knock-out basis. The time limit for each game will be 30 minutes.
Winners of the senior division will be awarded a prize money of 3,001 Riyals and a trophy, while runners-up will receive a prize of 1,501 Riyals and a trophy. Junior teams will receive 1,501 Riyals in prize money and a cup and runners-up will receive 751 Riyals in prize money and a cup. And there will be individual prizes for the best players. The first 16 teams to register will be the first to register for the A Division matches, which will feature Jeddah’s leading teams. In the junior team, four teams have a chance.
