Gyanwapi case: Varanasi district court says plea will stand | Gyanvapi Mosque malayalam news | manoramanews | kerala news | india news | national news | | Breaking News

District Court upholds petition seeking permission for Hindu religious worship at Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi. The court rejected the petition filed by the mosque committee, stating that the petition filed by five Hindu women seeking permission to perform puja was not tenable under the Places of Worship Act, 1991. The district judge’s order said that the House of Worship Act is not applicable to the Gyanwapi church. With this, the argument will continue in the court, including the demand to declare the mosque as a temple. The matter will be heard in Varanasi District Court from 22nd of this month.
