Linz – Manfred Haimbuchner, deputy governor of Upper Austria and leader of the Freedom Party, said he hopes to get a coalition government with the Freedom Party in the National Council elections, with the chancellor in blue. In the upcoming new elections for mayor of Linz following the resignation of Klaus Luger (SPÖ), he expects FPÖ city councilor Michael Raml to take part in the runoff. In an interview with APA, he said that he himself hopes to run again in the 2027 Upper Austria state elections.
