Hajj 2022: The domestic Hajj rates for this year have been announced

Mecca | Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the domestic Hajj rates for this year’s.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has approved three service packages, the Mina Tower Package, Diafa-1 and Diafa-2, this year. The rates for the Diafa-1 package with modern hotel room-like tents are 13043.99 riyals tax-free and the lowest economy-type Diafa-2 ((hospitality) package) tax is 10,238.57 riyals.

One and a half lakh pilgrims, both nationals and foreigners living in Saudi Arabia, will get permits this year for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, which will bring together one million people. Registration for the permit will be available online from June 3 to 9.

Hajj smart cards will be implemented: Minister of Hajj and Umrah

Hajj and Umrah Minister Tawfiq al-Rabia announced that preparations for this year’s Hajj have been completed. The Minister said that the Hajj Smart Card will be launched this year as part of the drive to speed up the movement of pilgrims from Mina and Arafa to witness the important Hajj ceremonies.

He said that this year’s Hajj pilgrimage can be better organized by utilizing digital technologies and pilgrims can pre-select their accommodation and travels at the holy sites through e-services.
