“Yesterday I heard Mrs. Karystianou’s speech at the European Parliament. I was shocked, like all Greek women and all Greek men. I commit and we commit to the relatives of the victims but also to the entire Greek society: We will not allow the government to cover up the crime of Tempi” he emphasized in his statement from the Peristyle of the Parliament.
Mr. Haritsis pointed out that the New Left last week submitted a law proposal so that the citizens’ signatures might reach the Parliament. “Tomorrow the conclusion of the Inquiry on Tempi will be discussed in the Plenary.
