That’s what it’s all regarding: The kicker’s shoe contract with Nike expired at the end of July. He then played for Tottenham in all-black shoes and for Bayern in all-white shoes.
So Kane is likely to reveal at 4pm today which brand he’ll be playing for in the future – or even if he’ll renew his Nike contract.
According to football magazine FourFourTwo, Kane has signed a lifetime deal with Skechers. So far, the Californian company has been producing lifestyle shoes; soccer shoes are not in the range at all. However, Kane is said to already be wearing a prototype of the shoe, which is expected to be released soon.
Bayern’s training session is at 5 p.m. today. There he can immediately test his new runners.
Curious: At his Bavarian premiere, he had August 17th engraved on his kicks. At that time it was still thought that it was aimed at giving birth to his fourth child.
