Harry Potter book sold for £11,000 at auction 2024-02-29 07:12:28

The uncorrected copy of the novel “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” was bought in 1997 from a second-hand shop along with two other books for 40 pence.

Harry Potter book expert Jim Spencer said, according to the BBC: “This book is of great value. This is where the Harry Potter phenomenon began.”

“This is the first time that the first novel in the Harry Potter series has been presented in print,” he noted.
