Haut-Katanga: Kyabula reshuffles his government with the entry of 4 new ministers

Jacques Kyabula Katwe, governor of the province of Haut-Katanga has reshuffled his provincial government with the entry of four new ministers and a commissioner.

In a decree read on Wednesday April 12, 2023 on the local national channel and a copy of which is consulted by 7SUR7.CD, apart from certain ministers including that of agriculture, interior and security, health, infrastructure , cultures and arts that keep their functions, the others have been replaced or swapped outright.

According to the same decree, Governor Jacques Kyabula appoints John Muloba Kitonge to finance to replace Professor Bruno Choma Choma. In the mines, it is Toto Chansa Ilunga who takes charge while the former minister of mines Georges Mawine is demoted and becomes commissioner in charge of Energy.

According to the same source, Jean-Lévi Cema Mwansa replaces Christian Momat of Ensemble pour la République who recently resigned from his post as budget minister. Prudence Kabange Ilunga is sent to the Ministry of Gender, Family and Children. She is replaced at the Ministry of Education by Marie-Chantal Kaleya Kilufya.

The same procedure was in place for Henock Seya who was appointed Minister of Land Affairs to replace Cécile Kalaba following having resigned to remain loyal to Moïse Katumbi while his rural development office was assigned to Robert Mulubwa Mumba.

It should be noted that this is Jacques Kyabula Katwe’s government III since taking office as governor of the province of Haut-Katanga in 2019. /7sur7.cd
