The firefighters of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) of Hautes-Pyrénées actively participated in the Pink October 2023 breast cancer screening awareness campaign by selling badges throughout the department, welcomes the Hautes-Pyrénées Cancer League.

Shortly before Christmas, at the SDIS headquarters in Bordères-sur-l’Echez, Annette Cuq (president) and Françoise Thusseau (general secretary) of the Departmental Committee of the League Against Cancer of the Hautes-Pyrénées received a check for €7,050 from the firefighters. “This is a great initiative which shows the solidarity and mobilization of the local community in this cause. Congratulations to the firefighters of SDIS 65 for their commitment and their significant contribution to this noble cause!” underline Annette Cuq and Franàoise Thusseau.
