A man who could not remember if he had ever bought a lottery ticket with the numbers of his choice bought a second and won two jackpots with the winning combination.
“I was lying in my bed and watching a game of basketball on TV and I couldn’t remember if I had validated my combination or not,” said Scotty Thomas, a 49-year-old man from Fayetteville. North Carolina, according to a statement from the North Carolina Education Lottery.
