There were barely four minutes of the game between Argentina and Australia, valid for the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar 2022when the first controversy broke out.

A cross from Alejandro Gómez from the left hit the hand of Keanu Baccus and the entire Albiceleste asked for a penalty. The referee Szymon Marcianiak did not flinch and there was no call from the VAR, so the actions continued.
