The Ministry of Public Health renewed its alert and reminder to citizens, especially in the southern regions that were bombed with white phosphorus, to follow the following instructions that must be taken in the event of exposure to this chemical:
– Stay away from the vicinity of areas that were directly bombed with white phosphorus.
– Do not touch trees, plants and other surfaces, especially in the vicinity of areas exposed to bombing.
– Do not touch foreign objects that may be leftover from the bombing.
– Follow the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health and the World Health Organization regarding dealing with white phosphorus.
– In cases of exposure to any fragments or injuries to white phosphorus, go to the nearest hospital to receive treatment.
