The Calingasta Program Area also planned an operation with its team in which the diabetologist Dr. Jorge Valenzuela, the nutritionist Lic. Miguel Carreara, Lic. Graciela Aldeco, head of the Program Area, always accompanied the health agents, made up of Mercedes Tapia and Juana Roja.
In addition, another event was held, which had a wide participation, framed in the diabetes activity, with the presence of the oldest members of the community who carried out an aerobics class with the teacher, Yesica Ahumada who joined her team, distributing water and fruit to the participants who minutes before had been checked for blood pressure (BP), blood glucose, weight, height and muscle mass index, and water and fruit were distributed from the hospital.
Meanwhile, the operation was aimed at women’s health, led by Dr. Claudia Elizondo, doing prevention and dissemination to the important audience. Within the framework of this activity, it was arranged to carry out HPV tests, PAP taking, breast patches for early detection of breast cancer, a vaccination operation and information counseling were carried out.
