A group of workers and union leaders from the Doctor Luis Razzetti Hospital in Barinas state went out to protest to demand the dismissal of director Elías Ferrer, whom they accuse of persecution and intimidation.
Gabriel Valero, Aurora Morales and José Morales, health union leaders, denounced abuse of authority and intimidation by the Razzetti hospital official.
They requested the authorities of the Ministry of Health to remove this official, whom they also point out as affecting the work of caring for the population.
They denounced that the doctor claimed to be an official of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc). A worker who does not enjoy his affection was arrested by that body, as happened recently with an employee of the blood bank, who is being held by that police force.
Valero said that if they do not have a favorable response for the benefit of the workers, they will continue with the protests, to which the doctors of the assistance center would join.
