The Eighth National Preparatory Investigation Court scheduled for this March 31, at 10:00 a.m., the hearing requesting an impediment to leave the country for 36 months once morest Jorge Hernández Fernández, ‘El Español’.
Hernández is being investigated for the alleged crimes of criminal organization and others.
The hearing will be held in person at the headquarters of the National Superior Court of Specialized Criminal Justice (CSNJPE), located on Tacna avenue, and cannot be postponed, said judicial instance reported.
Likewise, the CSNJPE indicated that “El Español” was automatically released following expiring the 10-day period of preliminary detention that was initially issued.
In this regard, they reported that the Public Prosecutor’s Office did not choose to request preventive detention at the end of said term.
The National Police, in coordination with the Public Ministry, arrested Jorge Hernández Fernández, known as ‘El Español’, on March 7, in response to the preliminary arrest warrant issued by the Judiciary.
His capture was authorized by the chief judge of the Tenth National Preparatory Investigation Court, following the request of the provincial prosecutor of the Special Team of Prosecutors once morest Power Corruption, Luis Martínez Morales.
