Heirloom Horror Film, Tells the Story of the Curse of Heirlooms – 2024-04-05 23:11:34

AFTER completing the shooting process in November last year, MVP Pictures released a teaser trailer for the film Pusaka via the MVP Pictures ID YouTube account and via the Instagram account @mvppictures_id & @filmpusaka. Rizal Mantovani was trusted once more to be the director following the success of the film Bloody Train. The Pusaka film was co-produced by Amrit Punjabi and Husein M. Atmodjo as the story writer.

In the 31 second teaser, the film Pusaka shows a group of people in a house filled with many heirlooms. However, what stole the attention was when Risang Wisangko, played by Slamet Raharjdo, pulled out a Keris with a human body lying covered in wounds in the background.

“MVP Pictures certainly wants to produce films with interesting stories that are different from the others. “One of them is through the film Pusaka, which still uses the same pattern of selling quite intense horror and tension, with the hope that later when you watch the film Pusaka, the anxiety effect will still be felt until you reach home,” said Amrit Punjabi as co-producer and Director of PT Tripar Multivision. The Pusaka film tells the story of a large house owned by a collector named Risang Wisangko (Slamet Rahardjo Djarot) which is continued by his two children Randi Wisangko (Bukie B. Mansyur) and Bian Wisangko (Shofia Shireen) and assisted by Prof Dirga (Joseph Kara), Mayang (Sahila Hisyam) and Darmo (Coki Anwar). The house is regarding to be renovated and restored into a museum. Inside the house there are many statues, inscriptions and various weapons hundreds of years old.

A group of workers led by Nina (Shareefa Daanish) consisting of Hanna (Susan Sameh), David (Ajil Ditto), Sandra (Ully Triani) and Ade (Ikhsan Samiaji) are conducting a survey to calculate estimates for renovation and restoration as well as listing which historical items It’s not supposed to be privately owned, but the curse is released from an heirloom that has been in the house’s bunker for a long time.
