High Alert: Egyptian Ministry of Health Increases Readiness in Beheira Governorate’s Hospitals for Traffic Accident Victims on Cairo-Alexandria Road

The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced that it had raised the state of readiness in Beheira Governorate’s hospitals to deal with those injured in the traffic accident that occurred on Saturday morning, between a bus transporting passengers and a number of cars, and some of them caught fire on the “Cairo-Alexandria” desert road, in the vicinity of the Wadi area. The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, said that the accident resulted in the death of 32 people and the injury of 63 others, 53 of whom were transferred to the One-Day Surgery Hospital in Wadi al-Natroun, while 7 others were transferred to the West Nubariya Central Hospital, and first aid was provided to three injured people in The accident site, with continued follow-up.
