Jeddah ∙ An official source of the Public Prosecution revealed that a Saudi national has been convicted for possession of narcotic drugs in Jeddah. Eight bags of drugs and other paraphernalia were recovered from his residence. The accused was sentenced to imprisonment for 15 years and banned from traveling for a similar period.
Investigation revealed that he kept drugs in an apartment prepared for this purpose in Jeddah Governorate. Drug paraphernalia and empty bags for packing were also found.
The Prosecution confirmed that the Public Prosecution continues to file serious criminal cases once morest the accused in drug cases and demands punitive measures once morest the perpetrators in order to protect the society from this serious threat to safety and health.
