A serious accident took place this Saturday morning, around 6:30 a.m., on the A7 motorway near Saint-Ghislain. A vehicle, registered in France, was traveling at high speed in the direction of Brussels. He approached a second vehicle which pulled into the third lane of traffic at the same time as the driver. They then collided. During the accident, a third vehicle was struck. A fourth was also damaged by debris on the road.
Six people were in the car registered in France. In addition, the driver was no longer in possession of his driving license and was under the influence. “Analyses and hearings are in progress. The driver of the vehicle registered in France has a broken ankle. Two passengers seated in the back suffered fairly serious spinal and pelvic injuries. In the other vehicles, three people were more slightly injured. The file is now under investigation”, indicates the parquet floor of Mons.
