The N63 is a busy route for Condrusian motorists. And clearly, some of them are too heavy-handed. The proof with this double speed control carried out last Friday by the Condroz-Famenne police zone, near Baillonville (in the direction towards Liège) and in the slowdown zone approaching the Somme-Leuze viaduct construction site ( in the direction towards Marche). In the first portion, the speed limit is set at 90 km/h. In the second, the maximum authorized is 70 km/h.

In total, the speed of more than 8,500 vehicles was checked between 7 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Verdict: 727 immediate perceptions, and twelve license withdrawals. The “palm”, so to speak, of the fastest driver goes to a Durbuysian flashed at 175 km/h (instead of 90) in Baillonville. His vehicle was immediately seized.

In the direction of Marche-en-Famenne, it was a Tinlotois who stood out in the bad sense of the word. It was controlled at 134 km/h, instead of 70 km/h. He had his driving license revoked. Four other motorists from the district of Huy-Waremme, who were heading towards Famenne, also had their licenses confiscated: a Hutois (129 km/h), two Modavians (122 and 120 km/h). h) and an Anthisnois (121 km/h).
