Saudi Ambassador Walid Bukhari commented on the celebration of the Saudi National Day in downtown Beirut, where he pointed out that “today’s spectacle brings together the history of Beirut and Lebanon with Saudi Arabia. Preparations for the National Day took three months out of a Saudi desire to return life to Beirut.”
He pointed out, in a statement to Al-Jadeed TV, that “the success of the Saudi National Day in Lebanon was due to its people and attendees.”
Earlier, Bukhari participated alongside Lebanese political figures in the celebration that was held in central Beirut, while the Saudi ambassador called in his speech to speed up the election of a president of the republic, stressing that the presidential election is an internal matter, noting that a sustainable solution comes from Inside Lebanon.
