It is alleged that a minor Hindu girl was kidnapped and married off. The Dawn reports that the incident took place in Sindh province. The girl’s family and Hindu organizations allege that the young Muslim man forcibly abducted the girl and converted her to religion.
Hindu organizations staged a protest in front of former Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari’s house. The protesters demanded support and help in the incident and the return of the girl. The leaders of the organization stated that the age of the girl is only 16 years and it cannot be allowed to take a minor girl by force, change her religion, or force her to agree to marriage.
