[Situation near the site = Shimagahara, Iga City]
Around noon on January 10, a large truck of the following car collided with a moped bike driven by a man (41) in Nabari City who was traveling east on National Highway 163 in Shimagahara, Iga City, Mie Prefecture. Since the truck escaped as it was, the Iga station is investigating it as a hit-and-run case.
According to the police, the man was taken to a hospital in the prefecture by a doctor helicopter, but he was seriously injured, including a broken right shoulder. The driver of the car driving behind the truck called 110.
The site is a straight road regarding 1.3 kilometers west of the town intersection. The station was chasing the whereregardings of the driver who had escaped, but at around 2:00 pm on the same day, he found a truck in Yokkaichi city and was listening to the situation from the driver.
