Hockey: Oilers owner sued for sexual favors on a teenage girl

Wednesday, Jul 20, 2022. 10:22 PM

According CBC, Oilers owner Daryl Kratz is being sued in the United States. Katz reportedly paid a teenage and young ballet dancer $75,000 in exchange for “sexual favors.”

However, these allegations are unsubstantiated at this time. In 2021, Sage Humphries and six other ballet dancers launched a sex abuse lawsuit once morest Mitchell Taylor Button, a ballet teacher and his wife Dusty Button.

Last month, Button and his wife filed a third-party claim once morest another party that was not involved in the original lawsuit. The couple confessed to having a consensual relationship with Humphries when she was 18.

However, this new lawsuit mentions that the young woman would have had sexual relations with men, including Katz, when she was a minor. So the third part wants those involved in those relationships to be held responsible for any harm.

An attorney representing Katz strongly denied the allegations.
