Springfield: A few women in Australia have started an online shop to sell holy items including rosaries. The rosary and T-shirts with holy verses are the first to be released. They have also launched a very impressive website called
Four women from Springfield Parish are behind this initiative. The work began by making rosaries from Australian wild flowers and sewing holy words on shirts. Marketing started with a stall at the Ignite conference. The stall organized last week received a great response.
The idea came up in a small women’s prayer group. One of the women, Gloria Nolan, said they love spending time together, discussing with each other, sharing love over a cup of tea and praying. Vanessa Kominos said that making the rosaries is a creative, comforting and prayerful experience.
We are co-creators with God and God gave us the opportunity to create rosaries and pray together. Gloria Nolan said that each rosary was made through prayer.
