2023 Honda Pilot TrailSport, details
To the few images already shared showing off the next generation of the Honda Pilot, we can now add a new batch revealing a bit more of the all-new Pilot TrailSport edition that will debut with this new generation.
The TrailSport, already present in the Passport range, will now be used to give the Pilot a more adventurous dimension for those who want a large vehicle for the family that can also move at ease in nature.
The new images reveal a front end clearly akin to that of the recently unveiled new CR-V; it features a more aggressive grille and redesigned headlights, and further down you can see a contrast-coloured skid plate. The rear position lights have also been redesigned, and the rear gets a black bar connecting these lights and bearing the large PILOT lettering. Further down is a TrailSport badge.

2023 Honda Pilot TrailSport, three-quarter front
Honda has also confirmed that the Pilot TrailSport will be equipped with all-terrain tires.
The next Honda Pilot is expected to once once more run on a naturally aspirated V6 engine; furthermore, it will likely sit on a new platform, likely the one currently used for the Acura MDX.
We can expect more detailed information on the 2023 Pilot lineup as a whole in the coming weeks, especially as Honda has promised an official reveal this fall. This will precede the commercial debut of the next-generation Pilot in 2023.
