A Yemeni young man residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia found a wallet of hard currency in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, so he searched for its owner and handed it over to him as it is.
According to a video clip circulating, the Yemeni young man, Ayman Al-Shaath, who is from Ibb governorate, found the wallet inside a small bag, and inside it were money in the denominations of Chinese yuan, Saudi riyals, and a passport for a Chinese pilgrim.
The young man, Ayman, says that he knew from the information in the bag the place of residence of the Chinese man, in a hotel in the region, so he went to the hotel, inquired regarding the owner of the bag, and registered his phone number with them, so that they might contact him in the event that the owner of the lost items returned.
Ayman appeared, handing the bag with the money wallet, to the Chinese pilgrim, who was surprised by the honesty of the Yemeni youth, thanked him for that, and gave him an amount (50 Saudi riyals), as a reward for his deed.
Where commented by saying that the amount (50 Saudi riyals) is lawful for him, and there is a lot of blessing in it, and he expressed his happiness at returning the trust to its owner.
The clip received wide interaction between Yemenis and Arab activists.
