The military ceremony of November 11, the date on which the Armistice of the First World War was signed, takes place in honor of the deceased of the two world wars and the soldiers killed during humanitarian and peace missions since 1945.

The presidents of the House and Senate, as well as numerous representatives of the federal government and corporate bodies, also attended the ceremony.

After a review of the detachments, the King, who benefited from the clemency of the weather, placed a wreath of flowers on the tomb of the unknown soldier and rekindled the ‘eternal flame’. He then signed the guestbook of the place and greeted the veterans, young people and presidents of the patriotic associations represented, before taking leave to loud cheers.
