Tampere – Hosts Finland advanced to the final of the Ice Hockey World Championships on Saturday and thus still has the chance to become Olympic champion and world champion in the same year. The Finns defeated the USA 4:3 in a high-quality semi-final in Tampere. In the final on Sunday (7:20 p.m.), either Canada or the Czech Republic will face each other in the second semi-final on Saturday (5:20 p.m.).
