A fire broke out this Friday shortly following 10:30 a.m. in a house on rue Cite Jardin in Gouvy. The ground floor was on fire and the roof of the house was pierced when the firefighters arrived. Human and material resources from Vielsalm, Houffalize and Bastogne substations were mobilized. A tank from Burg-Reuland was also sent to the scene. The occupant of the premises and her little boy were taken care of by the emergency services following a slight inhalation of soot and smoke.
