Three houses located rue Célestin Denis in Pesche (Couvin), rue de Merlemont in Philippeville and rue de Thuillies in Walcourt were struck by lightning on Thursday around noon, said Dinaphi area spokesperson Patrice Liétart.
Fires broke out in each of the homes affected. They caused damage to electrical ducts and meters and caused smoke to emerge.
The situation is nevertheless under control, we specify to the Dinaphi zone.
These three interventions are in addition to other tree cutting missions in the Couvin and Houyet areas.
