This is called a high bill… The inhabitants of an apartment building in La Louvière received a bill of €12,000 from the municipality for Nadar barriers. They were placed in front of the building by the City, following part of the facade (more precisely the cladding) collapsed at the end of 2020 during a storm.
Problem, these barriers are rented by the City, and the work has been delayed. Expertise, counter-expertise, leave from the building, problem of agenda with the construction company following the covid, … The barriers remained for more than a year and a half. At the price of €2.5 per day, the total bill therefore amounts to €12,100, to be divided between the 9 apartments in the building.
