In a video interview granted to StartupCafe.ro, the Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Ștefan-Radu Oprea, explained why in the list of categories eligible for SME aid of EUR 50,000 each, officially proposed in the Startup Nation 2024 program, they also find criminals released from prison and people with a low level of training who want to become employers, while employees with experience in multinational companies, who are at least 35 years old, are not eligible for funding to start a business.
