HIGH POINT, N.C. – this week in High Point University Athletics, women’s golf finishes its opening tournament in Pawley’s Island on Tuesday, while men’s golf concludes the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate on Tuesday. no. 15 Men’s soccer hosts No. 2 Marshall University Tuesday night here at Vert Stadium before hosting Central Arkansas Sunday night. Volleyball travels to Johnson City, tennessee to participate in the Buccaneer Classic, where the Panthers will play Western Kentucky on Friday and the host school, East Tennessee State University on Saturday. Women’s soccer concludes the week traveling to take on west Georgia Sunday afternoon.

Volleyball Dominates Pacific West Conference Play

The Hawaii Pacific University (HPU) volleyball team continued its strong start to the season,going 3-0 this week in Pacific West Conference (PacWest) action. The Sharks, currently ranked among the top teams in the region, showcased notable offensive firepower and a tenacious defence.

Key Matchup: A thrilling 3-2 victory over Point Loma Nazarene University on September 12th. Sophomore outside hitter, Isabella Velasco, led the charge with a career-high 25 kills.

Standout Performers: Velasco was named PacWest Conference player of the Week for her outstanding performance. Senior setter,Courtney Hamm,consistently delivered accurate sets,averaging 12.5 assists per set throughout the week.
