The National Police in coordination with the HSI agency raided a penthouse that was used by a man from Illinois (United States), apparently to have sexual encounters with minors.
This person had entered the country nine times, since 2021, and resided in Medellín.
According to the investigation, apparently “he contacted his victims through social networks and some were referred to by other minors, to whom he paid between 250 thousand to 300 thousand pesos for sexual encounters. On some occasions, he gave them cell phones as form of payment,” they say from the Police.
The authorities managed to establish four incidents with adolescents of 15, 16 and 17 years of age.
“Once in the apartment, this person, at parties he held, supplied them with hallucinogenic substances, leaving the teenagers in a state of defenselessness,” the Police emphasized.

The 40-year-old man was notified of the arrest warrant for charges of sexual and commercial exploitation, supply to a minor, access to or abusive sexual act with a person incapable of resisting.
During the raid, they found him with a 16-year-old teenager; In addition, they seized two cell phones, a laptop and narcotics.
