Bitcoin is doing very well. Day after day, it is breaking records and getting closer and closer to its highest price ever (ATH), namely $ 19,665.39, on December 17, 2017. At the time of this writing, it has passed the $ 18,000 mark.

It exploded in 24 hours according to the analysis firm Glassnode which has tweeted β€œIn the last hour, we have observed the highest number of newly created addresses in the #Bitcoin network since January 2018 πŸ“ˆβ€.

According to Glassnode, the number of new BTC addresses registered per hour reached nearly 25,000 addresses for the first time since January 2018, the month following Bitcoin’s historic ATH. The peak of new Bitcoin addresses is still far from the highs recorded in January 2018. The number of new addresses in a 24-hour period reached a record high on December 21, 2017, with more than 600,000 addresses completed.
