Huawei has revealed that networking (data communications and transmission) and storage are by far the most popular technology areas among European engineers participating in Huawei’s certification programs to improve their skills and competencies in new ICT technologies.
Huawei hosted the European section of the Huawei HCIE (Huawei Certified ICT Expert) Club, an ICT talent ecosystem for members to share experiences and ideas with like-minded people, at Huawei Connect Paris 2024. The European HCIE Club is open to anyone who has successfully completed one of the Huawei HCIE certifications in one of the related technology areas.
Huawei certification is one of the integral pillars of Huawei’s global partner system, established to assess partners’ capabilities and engineers’ competence in new ICT technologies. As the world changes rapidly and digital, intelligent transformation accelerates, new technologies such as AI, Large Language Models (LLM) and cloud computing are being introduced into businesses. Only if we truly understand these technologies can they be successfully integrated into the industrial production environment and create future economic and social benefits.
Since 2023, more than 4,800 new HCIE professionals have joined the club worldwide after successfully completing certification, with over a hundred HCIE members based in Europe.
HCIE members within Huawei’s Joint Product Definition Community (JDC) have participated in over 400 product improvement surveys and proposed more than 4,000 improvements, shaping 200 new generation products.
HCIE members have answered over 500 complex technical questions and contributed more than a thousand cases, sharing their experiences and knowledge in Huawei’s O3 community with other HCIE experts so that they can learn from others’ experiences and scenarios.
“The HCIE Club provides both Huawei and HCIE members the opportunity to learn and grow together, ultimately providing value to customers,” said John Peng Jun, vice president of the Europe region. “Achieving an HCIE “The certification is very demanding and is recognized in the industry as a high achievement. Customers see HCIE members as the experts who will guide them through the challenges of the intelligent age.”
With further industry recognition, HCIE certification is being adopted by some countries as the basis for their standards for assessing professional ICT skills. This helps ensure that the HCIE certificate is recognized as a respected endorsement of an individual’s skills, competencies, knowledge and skills.
The HCIE Club is a place for exchanging experiences and personal development. It provides a platform to discuss new possibilities and inspire new ideas by introducing innovative technologies and their application in business solutions.
More than 50 HCIE members and experts from 11 countries took part in the HCIE Club in Paris and several partners presented their best practices. Huawei will maintain the HCIE club in Europe and offer more opportunities and platforms for technical experts.
