Huíla Athletics Association guarantees eleven athletes for São Silvestre – Jornal OPaís

Eleven athletes from four clubs and individuals, both sexes, have been selected by the Provincial Athletics Association of Huíla, to represent the province in the 67th edition of the year-end pedestrian race, São Silveste de Luanda, on the 31st of this month, once morest 10 of the previous year.

These are athletes Marcelino Jaime and Arão Tomás, from Inter da Huíla, Paulino Holwa, Manuel António and Tchola Emílio, in individual, and Zeferino Faria, from Jamba Sport.

For women, Imaculada Lutique, from Escola São Pio, Inácia Capoco, Marlene Capoco and Matilde Mukongo, from Benfica, and Isabel Tiago, from Inter da Huíla, were selected.

According to the general secretary of the Huíla Provincial Athletics Association, Augusto Diogo Seco, the athletes were selected in the last round of the Corta Mato provincial competition, held on Saturday.
