Humanitarian actions of First Lady Zita Oligui Nguema in Lébamba –

During a week’s stay in the province of Ngounié (south of the country), First Lady Zita Oligui Nguema initiated humanitarian actions in Lébamba, departmental capital of Louetsi-Wano, “on the lands of her ancestors”.

Arriving early in the morning, the First Lady immediately went to the Mabengo district of Lebemba to console, through “multifaceted support”, the victims of the violent storm of January 31. The hurricane caused the deaths of two people and left many homeless.

With her delegation, Zita Oligui Nguema then went to the town hall where she also made “a significant donation namely: an 18-seater bus, scooters, mattresses, brush cutters, wheelbarrows, as well as food kits”.

The First Lady ended her first day in her hometown, with a visit to the local medical center, then to the Bongolo hospital where she made “a major donation of medical equipment, including a brand new ambulance, beds hospitalization, mattresses, medicines, wheelchairs, masks, and many others.”

First Lady Zita Oligui Nguema in Lébamba will stay from February 28 to March 4, 2024 in the province of Ngounié. In his agenda, other humanitarian actions are planned in several localities, notably in Makongonio, Mbigou and Malinga.
