Hundreds of Senegal refugees missing on way to Tenerife – Africa

At least 300 people on three refugee boats have been missing in the Atlantic for days, according to the aid organization Walking Borders. The migrants left Senegal for Tenerife, the organization announced on Sunday. Two ships, one with regarding 65 people and the other with 50 to 60 people on board, have been missing for 15 days. A third boat left Senegal on June 27 with regarding 200 people. The families of the refugees have heard nothing from their relatives since their departure. All three boats started in Kafountine in southern Senegal. From there it is regarding 1700 kilometers to Tenerife.
