Hyundai Ioniq 6: The Most Energy-efficient Electric Vehicle in ADAC Ecotest

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 has achieved the lowest consumption of an electric vehicle to date in the ADAC Ecotest. The testers from the automobile club determined a real consumption of 15.5 kilowatt hours. The outstanding drag coefficient of only 0.21 plays a large part in this. In the consumption/CO2 rating, the Ioniq 6 received 58 out of a possible 60 points, while the pollutant emissions scored 49 out of 50 points, taking into account the German electricity mix.

In test mode, the ADAC was able to recharge the battery for a journey of more than 400 kilometers in 20 minutes, thanks to charging capacities of up to 236 kW. The model with rear-wheel drive and 77.4 kWh battery was tested, which according to the calculations of the automobile club has a range of 555 kilometers. (awm)
