Ice hockey: NHL professional Seider suffered a clear home defeat with Detroit

The German ice hockey professional Moritz Seider suffered a heavy defeat in the NHL with the Detroit Red Wings.

The Red Wings lost 6-1 (0-0, 0-4, 1-2) at home to the Florida Panthers, who scored their tenth win in a row. Defender Seider was used for a good 20 minutes and was on the ice with three goals conceded.

While Florida, number one in the Atlantic Division, has already qualified for the North American League playoffs, Detroit will not be there. National player Seider might therefore take part in the World Cup, which begins in Finland in mid-May.
