If Edison wants to invest in a LNG depot in Brindisi, let it do it with its own money. Otherwise, let it go elsewhere!

“Edison continues its journey of informing the citizens of Puglia about the opportunities that the company itself is able to offer to the territory and, in this specific case, to Brindisi. In this city – it is worth remembering – Edison is trying to build a coastal LNG depot in the port area. An investment that I have always supported because it constitutes a further step towards increasing the competitiveness of the port. It must be clear, however, that Edison must build the depot with its own resources without expecting further public funding after losing those that had already been assigned to it. In that case, in fact, it can easily go elsewhere because Brindisi needs companies that believe in the potential of the territory and the country to the point of investing significantly”.
