“The expert has come, everything is to be pulled off”. Ten days following the fire which ravaged nearly 500 ha between the towns of Saint-André, Sorède and Argelès-sur-Mer (Pyrénées-Orientales) during the night of August 14 to 15, winemaker Olivier Contion has not no choice but to accept the verdict. Three weeks before the harvest, the fire took from it “its finest cuvée”, #1930, in reference to the age of the plot.
