The major fire broke out on Saturday during a shooting competition. The cellar used for this purpose in Reichersberg burned down completely following unburned gunpowder from a shooter ignited. He was regarding to fire his third shot.
The basement was completely on fire within a very short time. In addition to the shooter, there were two other people in the room.

The shooters tried to contain the fire with a fire extinguisher – but without success. Because of the heavy smoke, the entire building had to be evacuated. Ten fire departments with around 140 emergency services were on duty.
