The two police officers involved in the case of the transport of more than 102 kg of drugs were suspended a while ago, by decision of the Greek Police headquarters.
A Sworn Administrative Examination was ordered once morest the two, a procedure independent of the criminal treatment of the offenses for which they are accused.
It is recalled that the two police officers were arrested at dawn in Igoumenitsa for transporting a quantity of drugs exceeding 100 kg and even with the patrol vehicle. An Albanian national allegedly involved in drug trafficking was also arrested.
In the followingnoon the arrested were taken to the public prosecutor from whom they requested and received a deadline to apologize next Tuesday at 9.30 in the morning.
