The III Forum of Cancer Patients will be held in Novorossiysk on June 16. It is held with the support of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, the Legislative Assembly, the Ministry of Health of the region, the administration of Novorossiysk, the Public Chambers of the Krasnodar Territory and the Hero City.
Its goal is to improve the quality of life of cancer patients through informing regarding modern methods of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and the exchange of experience between regional specialists and representatives of federal centers.
A telegram with words of greeting to the participants of the event was sent by a deputy of the State Duma Sergey Altukhov. More than 400 people will take part in the Forum – patients from Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krymsk, as well as oncologists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk.
According to the organizers, earlier the event was dedicated only to women’s health, now sections on oncourology and lung cancer have been added.
